1000 pieces
The Earth was formed from a swirling cloud of dust, ice and gas that orbited around our newly formed Sun, roughly 4.5 billion years ago. Over millions of years, these particles joined together to form our planet in what is known as the Goldilocks Zone, the habitable zone around a star where the temperature allows for liquid water to exist. Earth’s size and distance from the Sun made it very unique within our solar system, as these properties allowed for complex life to evolve. From the deserts and grasslands of the United States, to the jungles of Panama, the beauty, diversity and fragility of our home planet can be seen here in stunning clarity.
This 1000 piece, 26.5" (67cm) circular puzzle features a portion of the Western Hemisphere and the Pacific Ocean in incredible detail. The image, courtesy of NASA, is one of the clearest images of the Earth to date, from their iconic Blue Marble series and shows our planet in stunning clarity.
The difficulty level of this puzzle is medium-high. The range of landscapes from deserts to jungles and the varying cloud patterns over the Pacific Ocean make this puzzle the perfect challenge.
