Maura Grace Ambrose is a quilter and natural dye artist in Bastrop, Texas and the creative force behind Folk Fibers. Her distinctive use of color and appreciation for traditional design, results in timeless works of art.

This 1000 piece, 25" (63.5 cm) square puzzle features Maura's New York Quilt from 2018. This quilt is entirely hand-dyed using pants and minerals from nature. The quilt was then hand quilted and all the details of this handwork are all visible in this beautiful image.

The difficulty level of this puzzle is medium-high. Each of the 25 stars has a unique colorway, but the black border and the small areas of black between the stars add quite a challenging aspect to this puzzle. *Note that the edge pieces and areas between the stars have no coloured components. Our varied piece shapes will help with these areas.
